Hello Sophie (again) <3

Day 0
- I have just finished my turbine project, which went fairly well. I learned a lot about mechanical design, and realized that I have a passion for the more physical kinds of engineering as well. I am now considering a mechatronics option (and if this option helps me get out of the QFD based capstone project, that would be amazing).
- This day, Thursday July 18, 2024, I went on a 11.45 km walk with Diego, where I realized 1. that Boston Clogs give blisters around 6.5 km, and 2. that I need to be doing more zone 2 cardio.
- Apple watches are excellent, I just got one (late to the party, I know).
- I am really torn on the next project I want to really work on. I am considering either joining a student design team for the fall, or trying to contribute to tinygrad.org. Do I really want to get into more mechanical design, or am I romanticizing it?
- Addendum: I have started no fewer than four blog repos/servers in failed attemps to write more about my (very boring) thoughts, but had always let them die without making a single blog post, until now! This is huge for the program, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you to Sophie M (and the thermo assignment due tonight). for your constant (justified) disappointment at my empty site, which spurred this burst of creativity. My one reader has something to read at last.

- I inflated the tires on my bike from 25 psi to 50 psi, which now means that I get to school faster, and that I feel every bump on the road. I can also corner much better, which is very fun, especially while listening to music
- Tadej won the 2024 Tour in dominant fashion. I like his riding style and his bike.
- I feel very good ever since biking to class, which means that I have to develop a plan for cardio in the fall, where I'll be living at home. One idea is an erg, and another is to work at the Flint office near the Junction, so I can bike there daily (the Toronto winter thoughever means this is not a perfect solution)
